This cable is specifically designed for use with all 70-pin ECMs in off-road applications so any 70-pin ECM that IS NOT IN AN ON-ROAD TRUCK. It facilitates direct communication with the ECM, significantly enhancing communication reliability and reducing the risks associated with CANBUS communication. This cable is compatible with NEXIQ and most other common adapters including Catcom adaptors. It has the CNF4 pin out usually associated with the Grey 9 pin connector. The cable is fuse-protected and is typically used for diagnostics, providing stable communication that reduces risks during tuning

The cable does not require a base cable with the tools with a 9 pin plugging directly into the cable
