Cummins Base Harness

To reduce cost the common functionality required with a Cummins bench harness has been built into a universal base cable to which Cummins adaptors can be joined to create a complete harness.   If you already own a base harness, you should not need another as most suppliers/manufacturers use the same connector (Deutch DT06-8S) as Cummins themselves.   If in doubt email us a picture to confirm.  The Base Cable incorporates fuse protection, Power and ignition with a 9 pin round female connector with the standard CNF1 pinout.  Unless you are diagnosing or programming more than one ECU at a time you only ever need one base cable and simply swap adaptors as an when required.
